Ashley Lewis joined the Nash, Edgecombe, and Wilson County Children’s Advocacy Center (Jo Ann’s Place) in 2026 as a Forensic Interviewer/Family Advocate. Before joining Jo Ann’s Place, Ashley worked as a Law Enforcement Officer for 6 years, serving as a patrol officer and investigator. Most recently with the Nash County Sheriff’s Office as part of the Special Victims Unit, focusing on sexual and physical abuse cases.
A 2020 graduate of Nash Community College, she earned her Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees. She is trained in National Children’s Advocacy Center (NCAC) Interview Structure and will attend the Child First Forensic Interviewing Protocol in October. Ashley is caring and work-driven.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys baking, reading, cycling, and spending time with her dogs Rex and Sadie.
