As a lifelong resident of Nash and Edgecombe counties, Nia Ewuell has spent years working with children of all ages to ensure they have the support they need to succeed. Graduating from North Carolina Central University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal justice and concentration of Juvenile Justice, Nia Ewuell’s background includes impactful work with Teen Court, where she helped local youth build character, learn critical skills and create brighter futures for themselves clear of obstacles. Outside of work, her ambition meets creativity where she paints, travels, and cares for her dog, MJ. 

Now, in her role as a Family Advocate, she brings the same passion to the entire family unit. She is deeply committed to bridging the gap between families and community resources, fostering the tools needed for long-term, generational health and wellness.
