Maggie Helton, MSW, LCSWA, is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate. She graduated from East Carolina University with a Master of Social Work and a certificate in Military and Civilian Trauma Studies. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Liberty University. During her clinical training, Maggie gained experience in outpatient and private practice therapy settings, where she provided individual psychotherapy and crisis intervention services. She also worked within the Pitt County and Wayne County school systems, supporting children and caregivers in navigating behavioral and environmental barriers to success.

Maggie utilizes Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to provide person-centered and trauma-informed care. Her therapeutic approach centers on walking alongside children and families as they process difficult experiences, recognize their strengths, and develop the skills needed to move toward resilience. As a Nash County native, Maggie is especially passionate about giving back to the community where she grew up. She believes every individual has the capacity for healing and growth when provided with a safe, supportive, and empowering environment.
